As Sophia's Heart continues to grow and establish it's presence, we have extended our hands to help 2 great organizations in the Milwaukee, WI area: HeartLove Place and Hope House. Below is a little more about each organization.

HeartLove Place: Education, employment and the family are all critical elements of our society. Without these basics, it is hard for anyone to rise above the cycle of poverty to take control of their life. These are the essential components of HeartLove Place's programs and services. HeartLove builds the capacity of the individual, of the family, of the spirit and of the mind. HLP's programs and services are available to all individuals who request them regardless of gender, race, martial status, or religious beliefs. Hope House: Hope House is an emergency and transitional living facility and a true community center located in the near southside of Milwaukee. They were created to provide a safe temporary refuge for people needing a place to sleep. Over the years, Hope House has evolved into a complete provider of services for homeless and low income individuals needing healthcare, food distribution, financial assistance, and educational opportunities for adults and children. Both of these organizations are operating in areas that are in line with "Sophia's Heart of Compassion" by extending help to those in need via food, clothing and shelter (among other programming). Because of their efforts, their surrounding communities area better places. During the month of October, Sophia's Heart has given a total of $5,000 combined to these wonderful organizations in order to facilitate the heart we all share toward touching many.
