In an effort to encourage higher education and to help youth achieve their dreams, Sophia's Heart has established the Sophia L. Gokey Scholarship Fund.

We believe that every youth should have the opportunity to achieve a higher
education. Economic status and life's hardships should not stifle their desire to pursue their dream of a higher education.

Through your generous donations, Sophia's Heart aims to provide scholarships in the amount of $1000 to high school seniors.  To be eligible, students will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Student has been challenged with a significant roadblock or setback
  • 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale for their 9th, 10th and 11th grade years of high school
  • Accomplishments in community service.
